As well as the Thoroughbreds and the British Blues ( see www.newpole.co.uk ), one of the mainstays of my life has been 30 years of owning and breeding Weimaraners. There have been several GAMEPOINT champions in different countries over the years, all descended from my first dog, CH CZOLKINS PLATINUM CIRRUS. A Field Trial winner and the youngest ever Weimaraner Of The Year in 1980 (I believe that record still stands today!), he was a truly outstanding dog with a superb temperament and true silver grey colour.
Currently, I have his great-great-great-granddaughter here at Middle Poleshill Farm ! Sadly, we lost her daughter, Lily, in September 2009. Having given up showing in 2000 due to moving to the farm, Hattie is a full time working girl on the local shoots and will never see a show-ring. I am legally permitted to have my vets dock my puppies and will continue to do so. The day that becomes illegal is the day I will sadly no longer breed Weimaraners.
Losing Lily made me have a rethink and, with Hattie deciding that her breeding days are probably over, on the advice of Lynne Danneau, I booked a puppy from a very nice working bitch called Tara, who had been bred to Lynne's stud dog, the same sire I intended to use on Lilly and Hattie, Sh Ch Ansona Gamekeeper at Arrantz. So Arankeun Silver Princess at Gamepoint, aka Ava, has arrived here, along with her brother, Jeeves, who lives with his Uncle Bert, GAMEPOINT GET ON, a mile away at Newlands Farm. Tara has an extremely open pedigree but there are one or two connections a fair way back and, if all goes well, there is an intention to breed her in a couple of years time to the SH CH GAMEPOINT FOOLIN' AROUND at PIPWELL (Hattie's dam) grandson, SH CH PIPWELL LANSON. Ava has to prove herself in the field first, though!

To those of you who have had a Gamepoint Weimaraner, I hope that they have been as wonderful a companion to you as mine have over the years. Weimaraners are a unique breed and once you fall in love with one, there's no going back!
